Need your help, i think a girl would be a mor helpful answer?

ok so, a few days ago i asked this girl that told me she likes me and i really like her to if she wanted to hangout on new years and she told me she couldnt because she has to go somewhere with her family, and now today she asked my bast friend if he could hang out with her on new years.. its just driving me crazzy help please
