To my Muslim brothers and sisters: do you agree?

I completely agree with you about the two staying together. I'm afraid I've heard it too much too as there are Shia ties in my family, but there are some who don't accept it. I also read the Kite Runner a couple days ago, and although it is an old book, the Sunni in the book don't accept the Shia and I believe that that is wrong. I don't understand why the differences are so pointed out, what was "United Under Islam"? :P
