My 02' Ranger Blows the A/C clutch solenoid fuse as soon as I touch it to the contacts?? Anyone have an idea?

if the fuse blows then you have a direct short to ground. you can trace the wiring and find out where this is happening by getting a new fuse installed unhook all connections under the hood and start reconnecting them with the a'c on from the pressure switch first to the a/c compressor when the fuse blows then look in that area or have that component replaced.
