First month on yasmin really light,some insight?

Has anyone else ever been a day one (started on the first day of the last period) starter on yasmin and had an extremely light period the first month? By extremely light,I mean spotty and well just overall light. Light enough that nothing much has been showing on the pad. I ask this here b/c well some of you may have experience. I'm testing for pregnancy tomorrow,but isn't it normal to have the first month of birth control make your periods strange? Another thing-I'm having absolutely no symptoms of pregnancy either,so testing will probably be pointless,but I'm testing to ease my mind. By no symptoms,I mean no symptoms of anything ociated with periods or pregnancy. So my question-has anyone else been on yasmin/ocella,and had their first month be really really light and have virtually no period/pregnancy symptoms to indicate ANYTHING?
