Does anyone know anything thatll help grow back broken off hair a lil faster due to a perm?

Aight its like dis..im a 18 yr old black male & i been growing my hair fa about a yr & some weeks now. I had my hair braided majority of the time but after a while i wasnt able to have any1 braid it fa me so i would wear it dwn alot. My hair is "well was" curly & i would brush it back putting a band on it & wearing it like that & after awhile I noticed my hair was getting wavy & das what i been wantin because im growing my hair to soon wear it like how that 1 boi'z hair looked on that show "the wire" if any of yall seen it, if not, then like the singer Lloyd fa a diff example :/ lol..but newayz i asked my mom if she knew of anything thatll bring out my waves more..she gets the bright idea to put a S Curl kit on my hair..not only did it break some of my hair off real bad "it shortened more than half of the rest of my hairs length" but it straightened it. I really aint tryna cut my hair to start over & i figured i can continue growing my hair & the low areas in my hair will eventually catch up..but i really want to start getting my hair braided again because the "combin the hair back/dwn" look aint really happenin nowadayz so yuh..lol i wish my hair stayed curly @ least.. but yea i cant have my hair braided due 2 the low areas, so i wanted to know if anyone knew anything helpful thatll have these low areas grow back faster..o & if anyone knows anything thatll help this perm fade out faster so my natural hair texture can grow in, id really appreciate that also..
