What would you think of a librarian using a Kindle?

Librarians are awesome and they are very open to new forms of technology. They are more interested in getting information out to all patrons than to the form that the information takes. The B&N Nook has a program with some libraries where you can rent an E-book. Not sure if that works for Kindles.
